Luxury Accommodation in Bay View Villa which sleeps up to 6 and features:
Private Enclosed Swimming Pool to the rear, it is enclosed with sun loungers, parasols, tables and chairs in terraced gardens and to the front there are fruit trees and a large terrace for those holiday drinks in the evening overlooking the picturesque bay towards the setting sun. Approximate pool dimensions in meters are 6.7 long (22ft) x 3.8 (12ft) wide and in depth gently sloping from 1.4 (4.6ft) to 1.6 (5.25ft) meters.
Towels and linen are provided. The villa will be fully cleaned before you arrive and weekly during your holiday including a change of bedding and towels.
Kitchen equipment includes an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, iron & ironing board, kettle, toaster etc.
The lounge dining room is equipped with 2 x 2 seat sofas (one two seater drops down to make a double sofa bed), 2 easy chairs, dining table and 6 chairs, Satellite TV and DVD player.
3 Bedrooms, bedroom one has a double bed, bedroom two has 2 single beds and bedroom three has a set of bunk beds with 2 full size single bed matresses, (90 x 190).
Activities Nearby:
Walking Routes abound in the area and suit all grades and ages, all with spectacular views. Two Dive Schools are within 100 and 500 meters of the villa, they offer beginners courses, try a dive, and day trips to snorkel or dive. Gulet Boat trips to the islands, sunset cruises, fishing trips. Ece Saray Marina and Yes Marina are just 5 and 10 minutes away. A Water Park is 15 minutes by minibus. Parascending from the 6,000ft Babadag is 20 minutes away in Olu Deniz as is the famous Blue Lagoon. The old Roman Fortress at Patara Beach (20Kms of pure white sand) where according to myth, Appollo was born and as a matter of fact St Nicholas was born.
Location: Situated in a quiet residential area with an enclosed pool the Villa is ideal for family holidays. A 5 minute walks leads to the seafront, bars and restaurants and the nearest mini-market (open late!). Fethiye town is a approx 1km away, local minibuses run every 10 mins to the old pedestrian part of town of alley ways with numerous restaurants, the modern day town centre with a Seafront Promenade is lined with bars and restaurants and from here Boat trips leave for various tours such as the 12 islands or Gocek Marina and also the water taxis for Calis Beach, all at very reasonable rates, the sunset cruises are especially good value.
Stay fit by exploring the deserted Greek hillside village of Kaya or just strolling along the Seafront Promenade on the flat. The nearest beach is just 1 Kms away on the other side of the bay and is lined with trees, complete with bar and restaurant it takes only minutes by minibus.
Calis Beach is 20 mins by water taxi or 15 mins by minibus from the town centre.
Gocek Marina is 30 to 45 mins by bus.
The famous Olu Denize Beach is just 25 mins by mini bus or car.
Airport:
Dalaman is the nearest airport (athough I have often used the more distant Antalya airport followed by a bus trip to Fethiye), taxis and hire cars are available on arrival and the journey from the airport to Fethiye takes about 45 to 60 mins. Transfers between Dalaman and Fethiye may be booked in advance (recommended). The Villa’s location is such that car hire is not essential to a good holiday, the local facilities are in walking distance and the local transport system is very cheap, however for those that wish to go further afield car hire is available both locally and from the airport at approximately £ 25 to £ 30 per day.
Most main UK airports operate direct charter flights to Dalaman Airport in the holiday season. Local markets:
